How the switch works

  1. Send what you buy today. Spec sheet, PO, artwork or a physical sample, and your annual volume.
  2. Landed-cost comparison in 5–7 business days. Factory price, freight and duty, next to what you pay now.
  3. Samples at your U.S. address in 1–2 weeks. Test them on your line. We handle revisions and color matching.
  4. Production 3–4 weeks after approval. Run Vietnam alongside your current supplier until you are confident, then decide the split.

The honest trade-offs

Vietnam is not a copy of China. Our minimum order is 50,000 units per design, ocean freight adds transit time to every order. What you get in return is a second country in your supply chain, no China Section 301 tariffs, and real manufacturing at Dong A and Nam Phuong with a certificate of origin on every shipment.

Common questions

Is Vietnam a good alternative to China for packaging?

For printed flexible packaging, labels and shrink sleeves, yes — Vietnam has established printing and laminating factories. It is not a drop-in copy: minimums and transit times differ, so most brands start by dual-sourcing.

Are products made in Vietnam better than China?

Quality depends on the factory, not the country. Our factory partners run an ISO 9001:2015 certified quality system, and you approve physical samples before any production.

Do I have to drop my China supplier?

No. Most buyers add Vietnam as a second source first, then shift volume once samples and a first production run are approved.

Do Vietnam-made products pay tariffs?

Yes. They pay normal U.S. duty and the 12.5% Section 301 rate on Vietnam (since July 24, 2026), but not the Section 301 tariffs on Chinese goods. Every quote shows the duties that apply.

How long does it take to move packaging production to Vietnam?

Quotes take 5–7 business days, samples reach the U.S. in 1–2 weeks, and production runs 3–4 weeks after sample approval, plus ocean freight.

Is the packaging really made in Vietnam?

Yes. Printing, laminating, converting and QC happen at Dong A and Nam Phuong in Vietnam, and every shipment comes with a certificate of origin.
